Nik & Helens Roadshow @ Somerford Hall

I was out with Helen last night at Somerford Hall, Brewood. (http://www.somerfordhall.co.uk/) Helping her with a wedding disco. We were on with a singer guitarist called Simon Lee, he goes under the name of One Man Rock Show and he was fantastic.

The Wedding theam was Harley Davidson as the room was full of Bikers, it was a great night and an amazing atmosphere. All the best to Sam and Steve for the future.

Hello fellow bloggers, my name is Nik Andrews and I am The Specialist Wedding DJ.

I'm now 47 and have been a mobile DJ since I was 17 so have 30 years experience under my belt, although I specialise in the wedding market providing bespoke disco entertainment to brides and grooms around England, Scotland & Wales I also perform at Engagements, Birthdays and any other family event that needs some form of musical entertainment.

I have always worked in and around media since leaving school including mobile DJ, club DJ, radio DJ, corporate and television cameraman & sound engineer.

I am married to Helen and I have two children Samuel, aged fifteen and Jamie aged two.


As a specialist wedding DJ I work directly with the bride and groom to help make their wishes a reality. Just turning up and playing a load of music is not what its about any more brides want their event to be different to stand out from all the other weddings and sometimes a bloke in jeans sweatshirt and trainers just wont do.

With music, video, photography, on line tools and very high quality equipment we strive to make each event memorable for the couple but also for their guests, you only plan to get married once and so want and deserve everything to be perfect, right?

I would imagine the answer to be yes!

You may sell "well you would say this as your a DJ", but always think long and hard about how important the entertainment is for your wedding. If you just want a boom box up the corner then thats great. But, if you want something a little bit more special then hire a specialist wedding DJ.
